Another Prince Protege, this one formed out of the remains of Vanity 6. Vanity left just before Purple Rain started filming & was quickly replaced by Apollonia. Apollonia 6 are probably best remembered for the track 'Sex Shooter'.

After wearing out my Kings Of The Wild Frontier LP, it was time to play Prince Charming to death... Yes, I wore this album out too! Once again, this album has been issued several times over the years with different tracklistings. This is the 2004 Remaster of the Original UK issue. It includes 6 bonus tracks. Like the Kings Of The Wild Frontier Remaster, it does not include the B-Side tracks nor the exclusive track from the US Release. So I have included 3 of them here for you as a bonus.

This is one album I played to death in 1981. I couldn't get enough of it. After several different issues over the years with different track listings and bonus tracks, the UK release was finally remastered and re-issued in 2004 with 6 bonus tracks. The only dissapointment is that there was an exclusive track from the US release that was not included and a couple of B-Side tracks. Fortunately I have these tracks & I have included them as extra tracks with this download.

After her Blues album, Pat was back with another Rock album, although nothing like her 80's rock style, this is more a grunge rock style suited to the time (it was the early 90's...) Her last album for Chrysalis, it should have been a hit, but the Record company did nothing to market it and most people at the time didn't even know the album existed.

Pat Benatar's 1997 release, falls in line with the more eclectic albums she did in the mid to late 80's. Although the heavy keyboards of the 80's sound are gone, Neil Giraldo (guitarist/husband/producer) & Pat both manage to draw together a focused record based in folk, latin, rock, & soul textures. Pat's voice is in top form and many fans class this album amongst their favourites.
